Here’s the real game-changer. SCI works best when it’s everyone’s job. Not just managers. Not just a suggestion box by the elevator. It takes a deliberate, structured routine that taps into the know-how of people up and down the org chart.

Go ahead and set those goals. Celebrate when you hit them. But remember the warning from James Clear, the author of the runaway bestseller, Atomic Habits: “Winners and losers have the same goals. It’s only when people implement a system of continuous small improvements that they achieve a different outcome.”
